California Car Insurance Fraud Report:California is home to many who attempt insurance fraud thinking to themselves, “it will help me get out of this financial mess”. The result can land them inprisoned for years… Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner announced, in an April 18, 2008 press release, the arrest of seven individuals for their alleged involvement in automobile arson and insurance fraud. As a result as mentioned above she is now facing 5 years in a state prison. Do not fall for the “financial status” pressure expressed by the snobby portion of society. Unless financially secure, the best advice I can give is to not even attempt purchasing a new car straight off the lot. There are very affordable quality used cars for sale. If it means keeping out of financial hardship or prison for that matter, why not go that route. Only buy what you can afford. This will make life so much easier. If you happened to lose your job and don’t know what to do…visit some financial forums for advise. By all means, avoid the insurance fraud, gas and match method, to solving your financial problems.
